Elizabeth Crowley suffered a heart attack in July of this year. The EMTs responded in what would be the first step of a lengthy recovery. Upon admission to the hospital, the doctors did not know if she would make it. She left the hospital not being able to swallow correctly or care for herself at all. Today, Elizabeth is walking with a walker, returning to her own home.
Brian Crowley, Elizabeth’s son shares what he feels about our Home:
“This is definitely the best nursing home in the area. The care she has received has been unbelievable. She received TLC from every staff member – from the kitchen staff to the C.N.A. staff. If there was ever a problem, staff members stepped in to remedy the situation. She has made a remarkable recovery and that is largely due to the love and compassion staff has shown her. Without the staff, this is just a building. The love is what helped her to become better.”
Elizabeth agrees, adding:
“The best part about this facility is the staff. I was also very lucky to have a wonderful roommate, Gladys Bieser. I would definitely recommend that others come here if they need rehabilitation. I used the specialized equipment you have in the therapy department. It was tiring but it did me a lot of good. I hope to be an inspiration to others who need help returning to their full potential. I am very fortunate to be going home today!”
